Columbia Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Massage

Welcome! I offer both therapeutic massage sessions and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) sessions at Howard County Holistic Medicine in the heart of Columbia. I specialize in post-op MLD for tummy tucks, liposuction, BBL's, breast surgery and mastectomies. 

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle manual therapy that helps encourage the flow of blocked or sluggish fluid. It is especially beneficial for clients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, migraines, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, and swelling (edema) due to pregnancy, chronic venous insufficiency, and other conditions. 

Stephanie Allred Curran, Licensed Massage Therapist has been in practice for seven years. She received her Associate's of Applied Science in Massage Therapy from the Community College of Baltimore County in 2018, which included over 900 contact hours. The LMT licensure included advanced training in anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, and pathology. She graduated with an Integrative Healthcare Specialty certificate from NCBTMB which included an internship program in prenatal massage, hospice massage, and oncology (cancer) massage. She is certified in lymphatic drainage from both the Chikly Institute and ACOLS. 

In addition to her private practice in Columbia, Stephanie offers chair massage to patients in the office of Dr. Kenneth Greene at GBMC (Greater Baltimore Medical Center).
